Nursing Assistant Practitioner - NSIC

Band 4

Want to be part of our future? Then we want to hear from you.

At Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust we have a simple vision – safe and compassionate care, every time. We are focussed on a programme of continuous quality improvement, listening to our patients and investing in our workforce to deliver an excellent patient experience. As an integrated Trust we provide acute, community and palliative care in people’s homes, from one of our five community hospitals, or two acute hospitals at Stoke Mandeville and Wycombe.

We are committed to providing staff with learning and development opportunities to support their career progression. We also offer on-site subsidised childcare, childcare vouchers, flexible working and a generous pension.

The National Spinal Injuries Centre is a world-renowned specialist national centre for people with spinal cord injury – a centre that’s life-changing for everyone who comes into contact with it and the birthplace of the Paralympic Games.

An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a band 4 Nursing Assistant Practitioner to join our nursing team.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual who is passionate about providing effective, safe, patient centered care.

The successful applicant will be expected to have already undertaken the Assistant Practitioner Foundation Degree and will assist and facilitate the registered nursing staff in the smooth running of all aspects of the spinal rehabilitation programme to meet patients’ needs and expectations.

You will have a structured induction and many opportunities to further development your skills and knowledge in this specialist area and a job that is guaranteed to be rewarding.

The Spinal Wards operates a two-shift working pattern (07.00-19.30 and 19.00-07.30).
