Job overview

You will be working as part of the Emergency Nurse Practitioner team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.

Your role will involve working across two sites, Stoke Mandeville ED and Wycombe General Hospital UTC.

You will be responsible for the assessment, treatment, diagnosis and planned care of patients presenting with a variety of minor injuries.

Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen to join the Emergency Nurse Practitioner Team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.  There may be an opportunity for additional hours.

We have a team of dedicated ENPs and are aiming to develop the services for the minor injuries provision further. Registered paramedics looking to develop experience within Accident and Emergency have previously worked within the team and we would welcome applications from similar candidates.

We are looking for competent individuals who want to learn and take initiative. In turn we will offer an opportunity to develop your individual competency framework, have structured teaching and clinical supervision with regular appraisals.

Applicants should have experience of working within Accident and Emergency and have experience and knowledge of assessing and treating patients independently who present with minor injuries.

The successful candidate would work across the two departments.
