Healthcare Assistant - part-time

Band 2-4

Spire Cheshire Hospital first opened in 1988 to offer high levels of medical and surgical treatment and personal care. The hospital is situated close to the Cheshire countryside, but within easy reach of the motorway networks and Manchester and Liverpool airports.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person ideally with an NVQ in healthcare or willing to work towards this. The successful applicant will join the Ward and Pre admission team. Our Healthcare Assistants are an intrinsic part of our clinical teams, working closely with our Nurses in carrying out a range of basic nursing tasks under their supervision such as personal hygiene, phlebotomy, performing an ECG and supporting the Pre assessment team in attaining results and communicating with patients prior to admission.

A caring nature, good communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop are essential.

Hours are 22.5hrs per week on a flexible basis, this will include weekends, bank holidays and rotation onto night shifts
