Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust Treatment Room service in the Greater Preston and Chorley South Ribble areas.

If you are able to work autonomously, you are motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic then come and join our team of dedicated treatment room nurses.

The Treatment Room service currently operates from Monday to Friday excluding weekends and bank holidays. We are an appointment only service between the hours of 08.30 and 16.30 however we do hold 2 late evening clinics (up to 8pm) and one early clinic (8am start) once a week.

Applicants must be willing to work flexibly over 5 days, be able to work well within a team and on their own initiative.

Main duties of the job

The Treatment Room provides care to patients with acute/chronic wounds, post-operative wound assessment, removal of sutures and clips, intra-muscular injections, lower limb assessments, compression bandaging and ear irrigation.
